FAQs:


1- How is the program structure?

Dialogues is a blend of a course with a study/practice group. In each session I dive deep in practices that has helped me cultivate awareness, expand my internal exploration and begin integrating all the parts of who I am. Using the framework of Contemplative Pyschotherapy, I facilitate the group bringing in both the teachings from the Contemplative Practices but also our daily struggles, questions, fears, worries. The curriculum is focus on Mindfulness and Compassion, so if you are interested in furthering your meditation practice or establishing one you’ll walk away with more tools and insights s and specially a deeper understanding of these practices. Each session will be followed with a hand out material + recommended reading. This is a live session but if you are more introverted person don’t worry because speaking or interacting is not required. There’s something really special and healing when sitting with a group to reflect on our shared hummanity, seeing eachother reflected on one another is an important aspect of our own self recognition

2- For whom?

If you are feeling isolated, confused and in need some support and guidance. If you are feeling interested in learning more about contemplative and meditative practices but not sure where to begin. If you have been meditating but want to expand more on your practice. If you want to learn more about yourself with a gentle approach. Everyone is welcome. You don't need to have previous experience with meditation.

3- Themes to be explored

We'll explore principles from: The Four Foundations of Mindfulness, Multiplicity of the Self, Compassion Practices, Buddhist Psychology, Neuroscience and Psychoanalysis.
