What is it?

In these sessions I support clients to cultivate stillness, awareness, acceptance, inquiry, and compassion as the gateway to integration, or sometimes referred to as “wholeness”. This approach is based on my Contemplative Psychotherapy training (the intersection of Buddhist Psychology and Western Psychotherapy) combined with Mindfulness and Meditation teachings. These sessions serve as a container for dialogue, exploration, embodied practices, learning, and processing.

What Can I expect?

My work is dynamic, present, and unique to individual needs. Together, we will create the conditions for a safe and connected space that makes expansive self-exploration possible. Together we’ll find stillness and awareness to help meet yourself where you are with inquiry and acceptance to begin a process of self-compassion and integration, through a combination of the following:

  • Meditation instructions and coaching for both beginner and more experienced meditators

  • Body awareness practices and visualizations for a more embodied and somatic experience

  • Support in becoming more aware of and breaking free from negative patterns

  • Guidance to integrate techniques of both formal and informal practices into daily life

  • Practical tools to process difficult emotions, self-criticism, negativity, and grief

  • Moments of dialogues, inquiries, and processing

IS THIS FOR ME?

These are not all the reasons one may find themselves drawn to contemplative and meditation practices. But they do represent some of the more common motivators that lead my clients to seek guidance.

  • You’re struggling to stay present and connected to yourself, loved ones, and/or life moments in general

  • You’re stuck in a pattern of thinking, anxiety, worry, fear, shame etc…

  • You’re unable to to break old patterns that are detrimental or no longer serve you

How does it work?

We work together during 60 min sessions weekly or biweekly. All sessions are facilitated online via Zoom. Clients have access to meditation recordings and reading material, if they desire.

ONGOING WORKPLACE SESSIONS

These sessions can be 30, 45, or 60 minutes. They are designed to educate and introduce Contemplative Practices and concepts to your team, as well as offer guidance and instructions on different meditation and breathing practices. These sessions can be weekly or biweekly depending on the needs of your organization. 

  • 30 min sessions includes breathing exercises, guided meditation practice, and q&a

  • 45 mins sessions include brief introduction to contemplative practice topic, breathing exercises, guided meditation practice, and q&a

  • 60 mins sessions include deeper dive discussion of contemplative practice topic, breathing exercises, guided meditation practice, and q&a

INTRODUCTION TO MINDFULNESS AND COMPASSION COURSE

The Introduction to Mindfulness and Compassion Course is a 6-8 week program where concepts, practices and tools around mindfulness and compassion are introduced and structured around unique team dynamics, workflows, and availabilities. Following the formal course, we can continue on an ongoing weekly or bi-weekly basis according to the company’s needs and interests.

WORKSHOPS/RETREATS/IMMERSION/PRESENTATIONS

Workshops or half day/long day retreats are a great opportunity to explore further specific topics and applications. These workshops pair well with company and/or team offsites, retreats, conferences, or presentations. Custom curriculum is created around topics, such as:

  • Integrating mindfulness/compassion practice in the workplace

  • How to enhance creativity and clarity with Contemplative Practices

  • Processing emotions

  • Understanding stress from a contemplative perspective

  • How to use mindful communication

What Can I expect?

Corporate programs are constructed to help your team cultivate self-awareness, kindness and empathy for themselves and others. Through meditation, breathwork, and creating safe spaces for open and honest conversation that builds bonds, they will learn to manage stress reactivity, process internal blocks, improve comunication and build muscles that promote resilience and compassion.

Sessions designed to accommodate people at all levels of the meditation experience including skeptics, first-timers, people who practice regularly, etc. All team members will have access to resources and recorded meditations during and after the program. 

Sessions can be held on Zoom or in person.

Mentorship

The New Teacher Mentorship Program is designed for beginner or emerging teachers of adjacent Contemplative Practice modalities such as meditation, yoga, reiki, breathwork, etc. The program aims to offer more support to those coming out of training or for those still considering which form of training and certification to pursue within their field.

Using the Contemplative Psychotherapy framework, you will be guided through a highly structured and personalized program that is divided into two development phases:

Phase One 

Focuses on different practices, concepts and teachings, mostly within the Buddhism Tradition and the Contemplative Psychotherapy framework, for which we’ll discuss the material deeply and there will be structured teach back opportunities and practical ways to apply learnings and different practices.

Phase Two

Focuses on business logistics such as your class structure, offerings and overall business model. You’ll be gently guided through the process of program development while also working to find your voice as a confident, authentic and impactful teacher.


What to expect?

Sessions are private and meet weekly for 60 minutes. With each session there is a combination of custom material, assigned readings, and homework. Mentorship program vary from 2-8 months depending on needs and goals. All sessions are facilitated through Zoom.

Group Sessions

The Monthly Community Gathering is a free and virtual meeting that happens every last Friday of the month. We work with the theme of the newsletter that is sent in the first week of the month.

This is really an invitation from me to the community to allow ourselves the time and space to go within. Everyone is welcome, there’s no need to share or talk, so it's for the introverts too. During the gathering, I give a brief intro on the topic and guide a meditation practice as well as breathing exercises. The duration is around 45 minutes.

How does it work?

This is a free gathering, however every month I suggest a direct donation to a a non profit for those who are able to do it. An email with the zoom link is sent the week of the gathering. We meet at 9 am/pst on zoom every Friday of each month.
